The Oliva Nova golf course was designed by Severiano Ballesteros. The
club, which has an 18 hole course, 5 hole par 3 course, practice greens, and
driving range, occupies 50 hectares of land adjoining the coast. Almost
“links” by nature of its location, the Par 72 course measures 6,270 metres
in length from the back markers. It has been voted as Seve’s best design and
water enters into play on 15 out of the 18 holes. As it has short, medium
and long holes as well as right and left hand dog leg fairways, it is a true
but fair test for all golfers. Oliva Nova has hosted the Peugeot Oki Spanish
National Championships on four occasions and is continually attracting many
prestigious golfing events. The course record is currently held by Miguel
Angel Jiminez when he completed 18 holes in January 1999 on his way to
securing the Peugeot Oki Spanish National Championship with 63 strokes (9
under par).
Javea Golf Course

Carretera de Javea a Benitachell
03730 Javea
Alicante
Tel: +34 96 579 25 84 / 18 13

This course is situated between Javea and Benitachell, and is a 9-hole
course, 3,035 m, par 72 (for 18 holes). Protected in winter from the cold
northern winds by the Cabo de San Antonio, but open in summer to the breezes
from the south-east, Javea boasts an ideal climate with winter temperatures
averaging 14 degrees and summer temperatures averaging 25 degrees. The
choice of the land used has provided wide, open fairways that sometimes
flatter the golfer, but greens that are very well protected by bunkers. The
Javea course is quite flat, making it easier to play and not so tiring in
the hot Summer sun. The course has been attractively planted and landscaped
around the greens. Apart from the course, the club has a large, well
developed club-house with a bar, a restaurant, a Pro-Shop, television and
card rooms, plus changing rooms and the caddy area.
Club de Golf Ifach
Address
Club de Golf Ifach
Urb. San Jaime
Carretera Moraira a Calpe, Km. 3
03720 Benissa
Alicante
Tel: +34 966 497 114
Fax: +34 966 497 114
The Ifach golf course is situated
in Moraira on a country estate with the some of the best views in the
Autonomous Region of Valencia. The course is 3,408 m in length. The
well-known designer Javier Arana created the Ifach club to be short and
tricky with numerous obstacles. It has a round of nine holes (6 par-3s and 3
par-4s) and even though the holes are short, the terrain and the narrow
fairways make them quite difficult and technical. However, two rounds can be
managed easily and players will be able to enjoy their game while admiring
the view of the Peñón de Ifach rock and the sun sparkling on the
Mediterranean Sea. In short, a great place for a round of golf. The position
of the trees and bunkers makes some holes more difficult and introduces
variety into how the holes have to be played. The course was designed in
such a way as to make it necessary for players to use all of their clubs and
requires great control, not only on the drive but also in the short game.
The round is not too hard for beginners, nor too tiring for tourists who
play in the summer season. There is also a club bar with snacks, the Micheta
Restaurant, a large swimming pool and tennis courts
